Stressed to the Max
Posted on January 11th, 2010 @ 5:31 pm

Hello all,

So everyone seems to be all concerned about how stressed out I’ve been lately. My English teacher feels like if I don’t relax soon I’ll have a nervous breakdown. My mom is concerned that my teacher is concerned because if my teacher is concerned then I must really have a problem. I’ve been told by people that I never look happy anymore. I didn’t realize how many people noticed it.

But really, all of this is inevitable. I’ve got to:

  • prepare for Regents (I have to take extra Regents to graduate on time)
  • prepare for SAT’s
  • apply for 15 million scholarships
  • continue my college search
  • continue to go to my after school clubs which look good on a college application
  • continue to go to PT (physical therapy)
  • try and stay in touch with all my friends from Florida
  • keep updating RSC
  • try and keep updating this blog

I mean really, I’ve got a lot to do D: It feels like every second of the day is an “I need a hug moment”.

As of Late
Posted on January 9th, 2010 @ 11:51 pm

As of late writers block sits before me just hoping I’ll come up with something creative to type.

I’ve decided I’m going to start focusing on getting ready for college and scholarships for the new year. I used all of my winter break doing nothing productive.

Speaking of break, mine was good. I got all A’s and B’s on my report card, which started off break very well. Then, I spent one day at home, two days at my aunts house for Christmas, and then I spent a week at a friends house I haven’t seen in about 7 years. Oh the joy of old friends. She still has all those old pics of us that I almost forgot we took.

The last two days of break though, I got home, did homework and make up for all the time I was lazying off.

It’s so late, and I just got done updating RSC so I’m going to bed. Maybe some of the poetry I’ve been writing can make its way to the pixels of my blog.

Stuff is Going on…
Posted on September 3rd, 2009 @ 8:51 pm

So yeah, I haven’t updated in a while but there’s so much going on I kinda got caught up in all that jazz.

I changed schools. You all know that I hated the school I went to before. Now that I’m going to another school I’m really happy. I really like the new school. It’s really small and personal, and everyone of the teachers I’ve met so far seem really nice. The only problem is that I have to wear a uniform and something else I won’t get into.

Also because school starts really soon, I’ll be getting into all the school has to offer me as well as working really hard on all projects and homework.

I’m still working on RSC as I’m sure you all can see and I’m 16 so I can currently learn how drive. I’m excited for that but I’m hoping that once everything calms down with the school situation, I can start driving.

I’ve also thought about getting a job. I doubt that I’ll be able to do so with all the other stuff going on but maybe over the summer.

I am going to try and teach myself to play guitar. Again, this will start as soon as everything calms down and I wanted to continue my French lessons but I’m not sure if I’ll be taking a language at my new school, if I have to take the language, French will have to wait. And about the guitar lessons again, I was thinking of recording my lessons with my webcam. I’m not sure if I’ll be doing this just yet, but it’s an idea.

So basically, I’ve got a bunch of stuff to do in the next coming weeks and I’m not even sure if I’ve covered everything here. I may not be posting much here, but you know what I’ll be doing. At least on the brightside, one of my oldest friends is having a party soon that I’ll be going to. I’ll get to have some fun. Goodness, I’m scared that I’ll have so much to do that I won’t make any friends. I already haven’t been able to make the new website I’ve been working on for forever and a day. I need to start drinking coffee….

My Warped Tour Blog
Posted on July 23rd, 2009 @ 1:21 pm

Hey people,

So like I said, I am posting this blog about how awesomely awesome Warped Tour was. Just so you know, I’ll be posting the exact same blog on my blog and on my Buzznet.

So instead of posting all the stuff that happened in chronological order. I’m going to post the stuff from me volunteering, the stuff from me enjoying the tour, and then any other stuff in between. Oh and btw, I went with my mom because she’s just that cool.

Me and Mommy at Warped Tour

So to begin, I went to Warped Tour so I could volunteer with the Warped Eco Initiative. It was basically a group of 20 people (including me and my mom) that was supposed to pick up recyclables around Warped Tour to reduce the amount of recyclables being thrown away. To be completely honest, it was a lot of fun. There was really good music in the background and there where so many good causes. I got to tell my mom about all the different bands and record labels and causes.

All together Tara (one of the people who runs the WEI) said that me and my mom did really well and it was the most successful day of the whole tour. We filled a whole dumpster (a measurement, it’s not actually going to get thrown away) and we went through a full box of bags.

Together, me and my mom got a good 6-8 bags (not sure which). My mom and I are very proud of each other.

On to enjoying the actual tour, I really didn’t go for the lineup. A lot of the bands I hadn’t heard of before and some of the bands I knew sucked. But while I was there I did really want to see Underoath and Sing It Loud. Yes, I know they’re completely different but I do love them both. So while I was there, we listened to a few of bands. They were ok. I was able to watch Underoath:

This may be the only pic I post of Underoath at Warped cuz they all suck

And I got to them to sign an AP (Alternative Press) Warped Tour edition magazine:

What had actually happened was, the line was really long and people kept saying that you had to have a some kind of ticket (not your Warped Tour ticket) to get anything signed at all. I didn’t have either because I wasn’t around to get one of the tickets needed and I didn’t need a ticket to get into Warped because I was volunteering. So I get to the front and right before I am going to get something signed, a woman walks in front of me and says that after the girl in front of me, the line for the signing would be cut off because the band had other stuff to do. I was SO UPSET! I mean really, I was just about to get it signed. But, then my mom came to the rescue. My mom told one of the woman who were handling the signing that I was volunteering and I’d really like to get something signed. So that woman asked Chris if he’d let me get something signed and he said yes! I was so happy and they look so pretty in person. It was really nice of them to agree to let me in the signing.

Secondly, I did say I wanted to see Sing It Loud. I love them and I’ve met them before. They’re really sweet. Chris (who along with Tara runs WEI) talked to Nate and he agreed to let me on stage with them. He talked to me for a while and thanked me and my mom for volunteering. I got to talk to Ben too and he thanked us for coming to see them.

Sing It Loud

Sorry this picture sucks. The sun was directly into the camera. Also, I took this with my cell phone camera because my mom used my camera to take pics of me on stage. It’s just to prove I was there :D

I even got to take pictures with every member of the band as well as got their autographs!

Thank God for security. The crowd for Sing It Loud was crazy:HPIM1668

Oh and here’s something I thought was interesting. There was a band playing across from the Underoath signing called P.O.S and the were really talented. They’re an English metal band and the lead singer said the F-word every five seconds.

“My f-ing mom and my f-ing auntie are here. Give them a f-ing round of applause.”

He claimed it was factual that when you die, you rot in the ground and there is no afterlife. He shoved people out of the way when he went into the crowd. He completely insulted a bunch of the bands at Warped Tour saying they sucked. He was funny but really insulting. You couldn’t take him seriously, or at least I couldn’t because I didn’t want to get pissed at the fact he insulted anything and everything he could.

On a more positive note, the band was really talented and they played really well live. I’d recommend them.

I HAD AN AWESOME TIME AT WARPED TOUR! Overall everything went well, even picking up all the trash. I bought really cool stuff too:

Well I got this for free. This was the shirt for the WEI so people would know what were doing:

Kristinia DeBarge – Goodbye
Posted on July 10th, 2009 @ 10:47 pm

You need to listen to this song and then ask yourself a question.

The question you need to be asking yourself is this:

How do you make money off of a song that was already written?

My Rant on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant
Posted on July 5th, 2009 @ 3:50 pm

WHAT KIND OF MESS IS THIS. MTV has sunk to a new all time low. I don’t even know what to say, this has to be just as bad or worse than the movie Juno.

Now, to be honest, before I saw the show, I used to think that the show would be a good idea because it would show teens of today the struggles that teen pregnancy have on both the male and female in the relationship. I used to think you’d be able to see all the hardships and all that. But then, I saw an episode.

That show is a big joke. I shouldn’t have trusted MTV to teach the struggles of teen pregnancy. I mean really, their name is Music Television yet there is barely any music anymore. That show is just a bunch of bratty teenagers being “shocked” that they got pregnant and complaining that everything hurts.

That show just upsets me. I’ve only seen one episode and I can’t stand it. I’m just going to stop now…. If you’ve read this far, you need a cookie.

Stars Have Fallen

It’s Official that Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett died today. Michael Jackson died of a heart attack a a hospital at the age of 50. Farrah Fawcett died of cancer she’s been struggling with for years and died at the age of 62.

It’s hard for me to believe that they’ve died. They’re such big icons and both of them will always be remembered.

You can read more about Fawcett’s death here and Jackson’s death here.

I got this from the Warped Tour Flickr.
