“I Can’t Do This”
Posted on July 31st, 2010 @ 8:32 am

You know, it’s nice

Everytime I try and build up an act

It always coils back, no time for attractions,

Reactions

My destiny is so black and gray

I don’t know what to say

Just relive and breathe all the things that happened

I’m not that old fashioned,

Just sick of grasping

Things falling right out of my reach

To the gate keep(er)

Of time, future present and past

Sick of being trapped in this hour glass

If only it would let me go

Then maybe I could show

This bitch has a lot more time to go

More time for both of you to get to know…

So yeah, this is my latest. It’s not the best thing I’ve ever written. I wrote this is a wave of emotion last night and I haven’t done much editing to it. This is just how I really did feel at the time and how I guess I still feel. This “poem” really is a hot mess, but it’s my hot mess.

I’m Happy :D
Posted on May 22nd, 2010 @ 2:06 pm

So I just agree with Leenie (the owner of the Fall Out Boy fansite Hopelessly Hopeful) to be a co-web!!! This makes me sooo happy! And she linked to RSC and my blog on HH so that has to equal a good 15 million unique hits. Thanks so much to HH for accepting me!

There is no quote of the day just because today is my mothers birthday! I’m going to use this space to once again say happy birthday mother!

FOX and ABC vs. Ashley Graham
Posted on April 23rd, 2010 @ 5:28 pm

So I’ve been hearing a lot of stuff about this ad for Lane Bryant that FOX and ABC refuses to air. It features a woman named Ashley Graham who is a real woman, with real curves in lingerie. Here’s the ad:

So yeah, she looks like a lot of the other girls in a lot of other ads, half naked with a clean airbrushed “perfect” look. So then why was the ad banned? It’s not like she looks COMPLETELY naked or anything. FOX said some mess about there being too much cleavage on a news commercial I saw, but seriously? This is just a bunch of prejudice against people with an actual figure. I personally think that she looks just like all the other girls in all those other ads where everyone is half naked. The only difference is that she’s got a little more to offer.

In response to this, Graham stated that she felt the whole thing was “sad” and compared her ad to the ads from Victoria’s Secret.

I agree with her completely, you all just need to calm down because this is what real women look like.

All the info I got was from en.terra.com.

Quote of the Day: ‘The Victoria’s Secret girls can flaunt around their panties all day long. But when there’s a bigger woman with a little bit extra, they snipped it out immediately.’ -Ashley Graham

“And that was the day that I promised I’d never sing of love If it does not exist”
Posted on April 2nd, 2010 @ 5:42 pm

Maybe I know, somewhere
Deep in my soul
That love never lasts
And we’ve got to find other ways
To make it alone
Or keep a straight face
And I’ve always lived like this
Keeping a comfortable, distance
And up until now
I had[ve] sworn to myself that I’m content
With loneliness
Because none of it was [is] ever worth the risk

I’ve always been one to join every social networking/communications site that comes around. So, I got a Formspring.

Notice, it’s now on my blog:

This post is too unimportant to have a quote of the day.

My Quote of the Day is so stupid. I had to put it on here because I couldn’t believe anyone still says this.
